This post deals with how to expand your reach globally much further than just sticking with a tight circle of friends. There is value in finding new friends that aren’t directly connected with your current circle. This opens the door of opportunity even wider as people in new circles learn about you and share you with their friends.

A Tight Knit Community

Recently, I’ve encouraged people that are in my facebook group to create their own groups and even to invite the people from my group to be their friends and group members. It’s amazing to see almost 200 out of 2,400 people in my facebook network creating their own group.

I’ve received countless messages and comments stating that just by posting in my forum on my facebook group their group would double or triple in 24 hours. Many people who have only just learned this technique from me now have a few hundred people in their groups and several hundred friends!

My facebook network is going to be one of the most powerful forces on facebook because we all have our own platform to present our message to hundreds and thousands of people who are learning from us.

I want everyone in my network to be in each other’s groups and mastermind with each other. It serves everyone better for everyone to be tight knit and work together. Out of the 2400 contacts I’ve made exclusively from facebook in the past 22 days (1,900 in the last 7 days alone), I would bet that 85% of them are friends with 250-500 of my friends on facebook.

Staking New Territory

Since there is so much overlap in my network and since I’m teaching everyone how to create their own businesses to provide products and services to their own groups, there is going to be a lot of competition on facebook within my current 2,400 contacts. So within the 2,400 there is an obvious advantage because we are all on the same page.

But the true power will come from expanding your niche into areas where you currently have no contacts. You will benefit the most by finding new people who aren’t in my group, friend list, or fan page.

So how do you do this?

You need to join some groups other than just the ones that I am in, or that my facebook friends, group members and fans are part of. You should seek out areas that have nothing to do with making money at all!

Your niche is whatever you’re passionate about. If you’re a spiritual person, start a spiritual group. I believe that anyone who goes to church, meditates, or believes in a higher power should at least be a member of a few spiritual groups. If you are more devout in your beliefs, you can create your own spiritual group.

Whatever faith you subscribe to, you can teach the prosperity message that I’m teaching through Internet Marketing through the lens of that faith. There needs to be groups for Christian, Muslim, Buddhist, and New Age entrepreneurs. I see a great opportunity forming a faith based group.

If you aren’t religious or spiritual, you can focus on general success principles. Get a copy of “Think & Grow Rich” and start teaching it’s principles in a group. My favorite book on this topic is called “The Science of Getting Rich.” There is an opportunity for anyone to create entire products teaching the concepts taught in these books.

Widen the Shotgun Splatter

In my book “Perpetual Profits,” I discuss a concept called “widen the shotgun splatter.” This refers to expanding your niche into other similar but related niches. You can read about that concept in the chapter 10 of the online version of “Perpetual Profits” called “Widen the Shotgun Splatter to Create an Empire.”

Think about what niche you are getting into and then go into any related niches. So if your niche is cat food, you probably should expand into dog & fish food. People who have other pets might also have a cat, so you’ll find them that way.

Think about the books people in your niche have read. Anyone who has watched the movie “The Secret” is interested in living abundantly, healthfully and happily. There are other motivational books and movies as well.

Anyone who follows Tony Robbins, Robert Allen, Harv Eker, Donald Trump, Richard Branson, Bill Bartmann, or any other wealthy & motivational person is are great contacts for your group.

Professionals with plenty of disposable income are also great people for your business. Find groups with Real Estate Agents, Accountants, Lawyers, Doctors, Network Marketers, Sales Professionals, Executives and other professional people.

There is serious money in making contacts with people whose average salary is over six figures!

Do You Have Only One Group?

You’re allowed to have more than one group on facebook! This means you can be building a network for each niche you want to grow into. Do you have several niche ideas, but don’t know where to start? Form a group for each niche.

Then you can have a link to all 2,3,4+ groups in each group to tell people to join your other groups if they are interested in those topics. Except for those links, keep the group on topic for what the group’s purpose is.

Every one of your contacts is interested in several different things. I’m interested in Marketing, Math, Music, Fitness, Spirituality and being a better parent. By having multiple groups you increase your overall exposure, as well as the value you give to your contacts who are in multiple groups of yours.

I haven’t created a second or third group yet because I’m preparing the ultimate free training ever created for Internet Marketing. I will be creating Spiritual, Exercise, & Dietary groups in about a week to share how I’ve applied spiritual and health principles to increase my energy and feel great so I can enjoy the total package of success in life! I’ll also have a link to BrianCampbell.com (the site currently just goes to my facebook fan page but will be coming soon) for members of all my groups to go to my website, which will promote all 4 areas of living abundantly.

I hope you look forward to these groups, but you should also start considering your own versions of them based on your experience. Having a more well rounded image on facebook will help you to be different than one dimensional people trying to promote another MLM program that doesn’t work unless you work 90+ hours a week.

Once people get to know you, they are interested in learning anything you can share with them to help them succeed!

So the biggest bang for your buck if you have 500+ friends on facebook (or myspace for that matter) is to create other groups that fit your personality, experience, passions, and image to help you expand to reach more people. You’ll come across people in your spiritual group that have no idea how to make money or be healthy, and they could end up being actively involved in all of your groups because they’ll know and love what you have to offer!

I’ve only scratched the surface of what’s possible with social networking. I’ll be sharing many more fabulous concepts with you over the next week as my facebook network explodes exponentially even more rapidly than it has in the past week!

My facebook network has quadrupled over the past 5 days! It’s been an amazing experience to say the least. But what if facebook would split the money with me that I’ve generated for them as ad revenue for people using their site?

Unfortunately, facebook doesn’t do that. But I found a site that does. It’s called zenzuu.com, it’s a site similar to facebook, that pays 80% of it’s social networking revenue to it’s members. It sounds like a phenomenal concept. Plus it goes 10 levels deep, so as people you recruit, recruit others you can make a lot of money.

Since this concept is new, it is yet to be determined whether or not zenzuu will be the next major social networking site, but I’ve demonstrated that a network can grow extremely fast in a very short amount of time. Especially one that offer incentives to people just to connect with eachother by splitting the ad revenue.

That’s right, if zenzuu actually makes the kind of money they say that people can make – I’ll probably make $10,000 from writing this blog post and telling my FB network about it. Trying to make money from you by referring you to zenzuu is not how I’m making my money this month.

I simply wanted to share something new that I’ve discovered and let you know about a potentially lucrative new thing. Zenzuu requires that you log into your account a minimum of 30 times in a calendar month to get your share of the ad revenue. So if you sign up for zenzuu, you’ll need to at least log in 30 times a month to see how much you earn.

I’ll be logging into zenzuu myself every day during may to learn more and see how much money can be made. I suggest you do the same. As you continue to grow your social network on facebook, you can also promote zenzuu and see if it makes you some money.

I’ll be reporting how much money I make on zenzuu as soon as I get some results. Hopefully I’ll see some accumulated earnings in my zenzuu account so I can share the information with my network so we can all have an easy way to supplement the income I’m showing people how to make on facebook.
